Start A Club

Starting a club (or ordering group) can be done in a number of ways. The main thing to remember is that the objective is to assemble a group that can order 1,500 pounds, or more, of product at one time. Following are some ideas about how to get a group together.

1. If you belong to a "birding club" or a similar group that feeds wild birds, you probably have enough people already to place a Club Pan order.

2. If you have neighbors who feed wild birds, get them together and discuss ways to find more people to add to a group that can qualify for a Club Plan order.

3. Place an add in the classified section of your local newspaper asking for people, who would be interested in buying birdseed at very attractive prices, to contact you for the purpose of forming a buying group.

4. FUND-RAISER. This is a great way to do a new and different fund-raiser for any group. Present this idea to any group that you belong to - church, school organization, youth sports, etc. You can charge prices that are reasonably competitive with retail prices and make 50% or more.
